Pros

Beautiful working environment Good for freshman, it has a long period of time to get used to the new working environment, for around 2 months to 3 months

Cons

Low competitive salary Long and heavy workflow Overtime working, with possible low annual bonus, depending on the importance of your task. If the work of the whole team is unimportant, you may be asked to work overtime for a whole year with low performance evaluation.

Pros

High salary. Good coworkers as long as you dont offend anyone. Lots of fun networking events and international travel to other Huawei EU offices and sometimes to China. If you are used to Chinese culture its actually a plus because they celebrate things often. Colleagues can often bring back things from China if you request it.

Cons

Speaking up or bringing up any issues will make you a target for termination. Even legitimate criticism that could massively improve the company could get you fired (yes, some have been fired because they talked about completely fixable issues). Other employees will pin issues on you if their roles are threatened; you will become a scapegoat and get fired. Problems that arise afterwards will still be blamed on you, even if you already left months ago. It is a typical dysfunctional organization. Any problems will be blamed on the lowest ranking staff. The job listings are mostly fake; they are just there to harvest CVs. (Yes, HR has confirmed it.) Some job posts only require an email address, so it is possible to apply without a name or CV. Check the Wayback Machine and you will see the same jobs being reposted year after year, remaining open for literal months. HR is lying to the management as well. Many managers are constantly looking for employees and asking around, but they never seem to find anyone. That is because: 1 They are broke. Check the public financial statements; their entire Nordic division is shrinking in revenue. Go check at allabolag/eniro or the equivalent in the specific Nordic country. The profits rarely get reinvested and is instead sent to Huawei HQ in China. 2 Positions are only filled through nepotism or headhunting, so applying normally is pointless. If they really needed you, they would be the ones headhunting you on LinkedIn. 3 HR gets bonuses for every candidate, so they are farming applicants and getting bonuses from it without actually recruiting anyone. Their own HR email at Teamtailor is not even working, so you cannot even contact them. The email has been deliberately disabled by HR because HR staff is focusing on improving relations with the staff to become likeable. That way, managers think they are working and won't fire them. Remember to check the LinkedIn accounts of the staff—some are liking and commenting on random people's posts just to make it seem like they are successful and have a big network. It is a bizarre roleplay. There is segregation at the company: the upper floor is for the Chinese, and the lower floor is for the Westerners and visitors.
